The 7th International Conference is intended to serve the professional exchange and networking of midwives and other professions in the German-speaking and European area, who are active in research, teaching or clinical practice.

About the event:

The 7th International Conference of the German Society of Midwifery Science takes place from 8-9 February 2024 in Berlin, Germany. It is organised by the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin and presented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hebammenwissenschaft e.V (German Society of Midwifery Science).

Central topics:
- research results and scientific-methodological challenges of midwifery science as well as relevant related sciences
- reflection on (extra-)clinical experiences
- innovative approaches to midwifery care

Participation:
Please register for online or on-site participation.There will be simultaneous translations German-English.

The German Society of Midwifery Science (DGHWi) is an independent scientific professional society that promotes midwifery research, teaching and practice. The purpose is both the development of midwifery as a discipline and the provision of needs-based, evidence-based, efficient and effective care for women and their families during the life stages of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and lactation.
