2025 is a key year for NCD policy – and the NCD Hub Community plays a central role! With a clear roadmap, we are actively shaping the path to the UN declaration: through the exchange of diverse perspectives, the development of a position paper, and dialogue with decision-makers. Join us and make your voice heard! You can participate in our survey until April 9.

The United Nations General Assembly will host the Fourth High-Level Meeting (UNHLM) on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in September. The goal: to intensify global strategies and actions to combat NCDs. Given the growing global burden of these diseases and their impact on public health, as well as on social and economic systems, this meeting represents a pivotal moment in shaping future international health initiatives and political priorities.

The Global Health Hub Germany is actively engaged in the preparatory process for this high-level UN meeting. The Hub’s NCD Community will play a central role: bringing together perspectives from various sectors, developing a high-level position paper, and ensuring that these priorities are reflected in global discussions. Additionally, members of the community have the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of the "Zero Draft" of the UN declaration on NCDs. Participate in our survey by April 9 to share your insights on the challenges and opportunities in NCD prevention and control.

In preparation for this important event, the Global Health Hub Germany (GHHG) seeks to gather insights and priorities from its members. The aim of this survey is to gain a clearer understanding of how German stakeholders from various sectors perceive the challenges and opportunities related to NCD prevention and control.

The results of this survey will provide valuable input for Germany’s positioning and collaboration in the lead-up to and during the UNHLM on NCDs. The GHHG NCD Community will use the findings to develop a policy paper with targeted recommendations on how Germany and the global community can more effectively contribute to reducing the burden of NCDs and strengthening global health systems.

Please submit it by April 9 via email to leonie.kienzle@globalhealthhub.de.
